The Out-Rack roof rack for the New Defender L663 110 is compatible with all Land Rover New Defender 110, even those equipped with a sunroof and ClearSight view® rear-view mirror with integrated rear antenna camera.
It offers a large, perfectly flat loading area of over 2.8sqm (2160mm/85.03″ x 1305mm/51.38″) that can be utilized along its entire length. In fact, unlike the original roof rack which has a long front and rear overhang on which the weight of the load needs to be reduced, for our Out-Rack roof rack for New Defender 110 we have designed the roof brackets to support it along its entire length. It is therefore installed with 4 attachment points on each side. Three of them, on the longitudinal rails plus one at the front fixing point, present on the roof but covered by the front plastic of the rails that will therefore have to be drilled. Don’t worry, a simple plastic cover is drilled, not the roof! Once the roof rack is eventually removed, it will be enough to cover the hole with a common plastic cap as already present in Defenders that do not have those rails. In this way, the roof rack will be suitable for loading roof tents or what you need for your travels in every inch of it.
The Ultra slim Out-Rack milestones?
It is light. Without sacrificing strength, the total weight is kept down to only 27kg total. This means being able to load more weight on the roof.
It is Ultra Slim. While maintaining compatibility with the sunroof and rear antenna, its aluminum profiles only 3cm thick limits the height footprint to only 10cm total.
It is silent. Each roofrack comes with a front deflector so you can travel at motorway speeds in absolute comfort.
It is perfectly flat. A flat loading surface facilitates the installation of any load, even if it exceeds the limits of the roof rack itself.
It is practical. T-slots arranged throughout the roof rack offer the possibility of inserting bolts or eyebolts without positioning constraints. Place the load wherever you want and secure it to the Out-Rack with millimetre precision!
It is corrosion-proof. The loading surface is made of Aluminum. The brackets are made of 430 stainless steel and the hardware is 304 stainless steel. The entire structure is also powder coated with black anti-UV finish with polyester primer.
The Out-Rack roof rack is shipped in kit and is easy to assemble. The positioning of its 9 loading crossbars “suggested” in the assembly instructions is designed to let you walk safely on the rack since your foot will always rest on at least two crossbars and makes it compatible with all Out-Rack accessories. You can still position them as needed without any constraints. In fact, the Out-Rack system allows you to place them where they are most useful to you.
